Do you want to surprise your partner with a romantic vacation to propose marriage? The first thing that you will have to do is decide where you would like to travel for the special occasion. 1. Choose an Activity that Provides Quality Time

When you and your partner arrive at the destination place, try to have an activity planned that will include a lot of quality time. If your partner enjoys nature, planning to go hiking might be a great way to spend quality time together. The reason why is because hiking will not involve a lot of people being around, or the noise from society. You might come across a few other people that are hiking, but you and your partner will be alone for the most part. Going hiking is actually the perfect time to propose as well, but you should choose a different location if you want to decorate for the occasion.

2. Stay in a Log Cabin to Create a Cozy Atmosphere

Rather than staying in a hotel room during the vacation, opt for a log cabin to make the occasion more romantic. A log cabin will also fit the occasion better if you choose to surprise your partner with an activity that involves nature, such as hiking. If you want to decorate the cabin before your partner sees it, rent a hotel room for a short time that he or she can spend a few hours in until you finish decorating. If you don't pack any supplies to decorate with, simply stop by a store to gather what you need. Purchase supplies such as candles and flowers to set the mood in the cabin.

3. Pack a Camcorder to Secretly Record the Proposal

If you want to capture the memory of your proposal, pack a camcorder for the trip. Plan where you intend on proposing inside the cabin and hide the camcorder in a strategic spot, such as somewhere that your partner won't notice it. You and your partner will then be able to look back at the special occasion as the years pass by.
